Depending on the group size, the laboratory’s technical staff can travel to your hotel or your Finca. An appointment is necessary to organize the COVID tests.
TYPE OF TESTS:
PCR TEST
- It is the most reliable technique to detect the presence of SARS-CoV-2
- Does not detect immunity
- Sample collection by nasopharyngeal extraction
- Identifies active infection
- Results in 24 hours
RAPID ANTIGEN TEST
- Antigen test comparable to the PCR test
- Sample collection by nasopharyngeal extraction
- Identifies active infection
- Result in 30 minutes
- Does not detect immunity
ANTIBODY TEST
- Detects the immune response, if you have had the disease
- It is not effective in detecting an active infection
- Separately detects IgM and IgG antibodies
- Sampling by superficial puncture of the finger
- Response in 20 minutes
